Questions about the price
Is Memo free right now?
Yes. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps are in test (TestFlight and Google Play testing) and nothing is charged during the test phase. The web app is free too. When Memo ships in the stores it costs 0.99 € a month after a 14-day free trial.
Why is the web app free?
Memo is billed through the App Store and Google Play, and the stores cannot bill a website. So the web app is free for now. If that changes, it is announced on this page first.
How do I cancel?
In your store subscriptions: Settings, your name, Subscriptions on an iPhone or iPad; the Google Play app, your profile, Payments and subscriptions on Android. Memo never sees your card; the store's terms apply to payment and refunds.
Do the AI features cost extra?
AI notebooks from a prompt and AI summaries are planned, not shipped, and have no price yet. There is one plan today, and anything that changes it is announced here first.
Where are my files stored?
In one folder of your own Google Drive (My Drive/Memo by default, or any path you choose), or only on your device if you prefer. Memo has no server that stores your documents.
Can I use Memo without a Google account?
Yes. Choose "Use on this device only" and the PDFs are stored locally. You can connect Google Drive later from Settings and upload what was on the device in one step.
